well USA is over the ocean, and the flight is expensive...tell me something..are there a lot of albanians?
well right now its about $900 round trip, it gets expensive during the spring and summer. There are lot of Albanians in NYC as well Michigan, but most of them speak English than Albanian ;)

But the situation is the same as in Slovenia...i'm surrounded by slovene people...but my parents tought me some morals, some national love..others seem to have forgotten where they came from..such a pitty

I think in the USA Albanians do stick to their routes , its more the ones who live e.g in Europe who forgett where they came from. The difference is only: in the USA you are not really faced any kind of discrimination as an Albanian, whereas in Europe its pretty much everyday life. Of course this should not be a generalization, but in the most of the cases.

Exactly, some young Albanians were born in USA, and their parents came here when they were young and the kids still wear black and red clothes and show their Albanian pride. In USA no one discriminates against another nation. So, in NYC there are Albanian flags drawn on the walls of building, one flag was drawn 2 meters tall on one building. You have Albanian street with only Albanian stores and stuff...but still they speak English rather than Albanian. Like James Belushi he only understands few Albanian words. And yet still they show their Albanian compatriotism.

I know, I have seen that last year , when I was there.
It was such a wonderful feeling , being in a store , talking albanian to my aunt ( or I could even curse in albanian or even scream) and no one would even care heheheh
