I met you on the internet
And my world turned upside down
I couldn't get enough of you
On this thing called "on-line".

I looked into your folder
At your pics for me to see
Two beautiful eyes smiling
Looking across at me.

And all the hugs and kisses
That you sent to me each day
I stored upon a floppy disk
and filed them all away.

Out they came on lonely nights
My eyes all misty and wide
I used all of my imagination
And you were by my side.

I fell head over heels in love
On this thing they call the "net"
I couldn't help myself at all
Although we had never met.

In the sky in a big aeroplane
You came to visit me
I waited at the airport
As nervous as could be.

Through the sliding doors you came
You walked straight out to me
We hugged and kissed for awhile
It seemed like an eternity.

When I saw you in the flesh
My heart was like a dove
I knew right then that what I felt
Was pure and instant love.

So why did you have to go away?

Without your hugs and kisses
I am so lonely on my own.
